Welcome to the 2022 Hampden Football Netball League season. Fingers crossed that we can put the frustration and challenges of the last couple of years behind us and look forward to a complete season of matches and an exciting finals series. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the HFNL for sticking tight during these difficult times. The ability for people to reconnect with friends and their community is more important than ever and what better environment to do that than a football/netball club.
Thanks to all the volunteers that have kept working hard to ensure their club is up and about this season. Thanks also to Mike Farrow (our league administrator) and the HFNL board members that have worked on preparation for the season and our major partners and sponsors that provide the financial support to ensure our short and long term viability. In particular, I would like to thank our major sponsors in McDonalds, Powercor, Lyndoch Living and Sungold Milk.
Good luck to all clubs, coaches and players that can put the pre-season grind behind them and get stuck into playing games of footy and netball.
