Welcome to the 2024 HFNL season and what a great year it is shaping up to be. Congratulations to all the clubs that have been busy in the off – season building player lists and preparing their club for what promises to be the most even competition in years. Like the clubs, the Hampden Board has been active in the off season, working with stake holders to ensure the clubs are professionally supported and that we have a product that engages supporters. I would like to welcome, newly appointed Hampden League administrator, Trent Hill to the team and look forward to working with Hilly and new board members Ilona Carson and Matt Clarke who all bring a skill set that will value add to our board. A big thanks to our sponsors that have recommitted to 2024 and to those that have recently come on board. Your support helps us to maintain the high standards expected of a major country league competition. It also allows us to explore innovative ideas that enhance our product. An example of this will be the introduction of player statistics that will be made available to the public via our media outlets. This will provide supporters with excellent information about their favourite players and team. Good luck to all clubs and let the fun begin.
