Due to the response from the Expression of interest for the Sports trainers course on the Sunday 27th of June we will now go ahead with the course for this date. Numbers will be capped at 20. Details will be circulated this week.
There will be more courses early 2021 for First Aid, CPR and Sports trainers. We hope to have these details out a.s.a.p.
A timely reminder for club officials, coaching staff, sports trainers, parents, partners or guardians after some serious head injuries that the key message remains the same “If In Doubt, Sit Them Out”!
Any Concussion OR suspect concussion of any player at any age requires the player to be removed from play immediately. As per guidelines a medical certificate is required by a Doctor before that player can return to
training or game day play. These guidelines are design to ensure the safety of the player.
Any Sports trainer or club that dose not have a copy of the concussion form that the player must use and take to the doctor to sign, in order to clear them to return to training or game day player can contact the Association and a copy will be provided.
