An extravaganza of female football will be on display at Warrnambool’s Reid Oval this Sunday, with the opening week of the Deakin University/Frolic Lane Western Victoria Female Football League Finals commencing.
The marquee venue will host the semi-finals, with each winner progressing through to next weeks Grand Final, which will be held at Mortlake’s DC Farran Oval.
Nine teams will be represented in the semi-finals on Sunday, with games to be played in the Under 15, Under 18 and Senior Women grades.
The opening fixture will begin at 8.15am with North Warrnambool and Koroit meeting in the U15’s, while South Warrnambool and Tyrendarra will feature in the final fixture of the day, beginning at 4.05pm.

Senior – South Warrnambool vs Tyrendarra – 4.05pm
League Administrator Trent Hill says it promises to be a great day of finals football.
“For the second week in a row, local football supporters will have a chance to see some exceptional female football talent running around. It will be a very hotly contested finals day,” said Trent.
Gates Open at 7.15am with coffee and canteen facilities available.
